So this is a trunk mounted bike rack and we're gonna talk about how you can carry around multiple bikes with this rack. Now, I personally recommend if possible try to get a hitch mounted bike rack just because you have more stability and it may work better with your sedan, since you don't have as much contact points. But, if you are limited to a class one hitch, you're limited to two bikes for that hitch. Also, if you just want a quick and easy option without getting a hitch installed, that's where a trunk mounted bike rack like this might come in handy. Hi, everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today we'll be taking a look here at our Sairs Bones EX Bike Rack. This is a trunk mounted bike rack here on our 2018 Nissan Kicks. So if you want to carry around your bikes, but you don't have a roof rack, or you don't have a hitch on your Kicks, this is the next best option. So this creates three mounting points for your bikes, this also fits over your spoiler, as well as onto your hatch. You cannot open your hatch with this, but this does mean you can carry around multiple bikes. This has a weight capacity of 35 pounds per bike, so if you do have your slightly heavier bikes, this may not be the best option for you. more

This right here is our two bike version, but this also comes in a three bike version. This bike rack is a great option if you do not have a hitch or cannot install a hitch or a roof rack, because what this does is, it installs right into your trunk and you don't have to do any drilling of holes. It just pops right in there. Now, this can accommodate a lot of different types of cars. The way it's built is a bit of a more universal fit. more

Thule Passage Trunk Mounted Bike Rack Review - 2009 Nissan Altima- Video
Today on our 2009 Nissan Altima, well be test fitting the Thule Passage two bike carrier, part number th910xt. Before we begin our test fit, first thing to refer to the Thule fit guide to determine what number our fit dial should be set at. After setting our fit dial, well place the carrier onto the vehicle. Well put the top hook to the top part of the trunk, the side hooks to the side, and the bottom hooks to the bottom of the trunk. You may need to open up your trunk to get the bottom hooks into place. After we have all the straps into position we can then go around and tighten down all the straps and secure the carrier to our vehicle. more

Hollywood Racks Baja 2 Trunk Bike Rack Review - 2009 Nissan Altima- Video
Today on our 2009 Nissan Ultima, well be test fitting the Hollywood Racks Baja Two Bike Carrier Trunk Mount, part number HRB2. Now to begin our test fit, well set the carrier on top of the trunk and if necessary use the black levers located at each end of the carrier to adjust the jaws to allow a better fit onto the vehicle. Once you have established the correct fit, you can use the top two hooks to hook to the top of the trunk, the two side hooks to hook to the side and the two low hooks to hook to the bottom of trunk. It may be necessary as well to open up the trunk just enough to get the hooks in the bottom. Once you have all the straps in place we can go ahead and secure the carrier to the vehicle by tightening down each strap and securing the access slack. Once it is secured the vehicle, were ready to go ahead and grab our bike and load it up. Well undo the cradle straps, set the bike into the frame cradles and secure it with the straps. That completes todays test fit for the Hollywood Racks Baja Two Bike Carrier, part number HRB2 on our 2009 Nissan Ultima. more
